All people living on the Coeur d'Alene Reservation: Labor force participation rate

These data come from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey. They are based on averages of data collected in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. These estimates cannot be used to say what is going on in any particular year in the period, only what the average value is over the full period. Some reservations have no data reported due to their small populations.

The labor force participation rate is the proportion of people age 16 years and older who are employed or available for work. It is one indication of whether more people might be drawn into the labor force if wages were higher.

In 2016-2020, the labor force participation rate among all people on the Coeur d'Alene Reservation ...

  • was 53.3 percent

Please note that ORTL stands for Off-Reservation Trust Land.

Note: These ACS data are estimates based on a five-year average, meaning that data gathered from 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 are averaged together to come up with the results shown here. There is no problem with comparing these data to census data from 2000. For a technical discussion of the "margins of error" associated with ACS estimates, please see: (https://www.census.gov/programs-surveys/acs/guidance/training-presentations/acs-moe.html) NA = Not Available. The Census Bureau does not report data for all reservations for all reference years.
