Idaho: Student teacher ratio

  • The student teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Teachers are individuals who provide instruction to pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, grades 1 through 12, or ungraded classes. Individuals are also counted as teachers if they teach in an environment other than a classroom setting.

  • Not all districts and states provide information to the National Center for Education Statistics, which is our source for student teacher ratios. For more detail, please see https://nces.ed.gov/ccd/aboutccd.asp
