Thurston County: Teen birth rate

The teen birth rate is calculated by dividing the number of births to females age 15-17 by the number of females in that age group. We multiply the result by 1,000. In counties with relatively few people, a small change in the number of teen births may have a significant effect on rates from year to year.

In Thurston County. . .

  • The teen birth rate in 1900 was NA per 1,000, compared to NA per 1,000 in Washington.

  • There were NA births to females age 15-17 in 1900 compared to NA in 1998.
