Teton: Hispanic origin, by age

Hispanic and non-Hispanic populations tend to have very different age structures. Typically, Hispanic populations in the U.S. are younger than their non-Hispanic counterparts. In general, younger populations grow faster.

In Teton in 2018. . .

  • those under age 20 made up 40 percent of the total Hispanic population compared to 24 percent of the total non-Hispanic population;

  • those aged 20-64 made up 57 percent of the total Hispanic population compared to 61 percent of the total non-Hispanic population;

  • those aged 65 and over made up 3 percent of the total Hispanic population compared to 14 percent of the total non-Hispanic population.
